I had to run after and hop on this bandwagon!!! And I’m still stalking it. The Sagebrush Top by Friday Pattern Co is THAT good!! It reminds me of little tops I would wear as a kid but appropriate for the grown-up that I am, of course.
I chose to make it in this cotton voile from Mood Fabrics, identical to the version Juliana (@sew.juliana on IG) made. I was THAT taken by it and now we can twin!
The instructions were immaculate, as is the norm for Friday Pattern Co. and it was super quick to put together. It was great to do in between more involved projects. And it yielded the most comfy and breezy but not frumpy top, which I need more of! Even my mom really liked the pattern and fabric. (Everything I make goes thru Mom for approval and if she likes it, it’s a triple win!)
As I said, I follow the hashtag on IG for more inspo and I’m looking forward to making a few more of these real soon!! But for you viewing pleasure (and mine!), I’ve included some of my faves, plus a hack into a dress! Y’all know how I feel about a good hack!!!
