My sisters (I have 2 younger sisters) and I planned a weekend away for our middle sister’s birthday this past weekend. I found the cutest cabin in the Catskills and it was perfect for shooting comfy chic makes. AHA! I could make The Adrienne Blouse, I thought. On a recent trip to the Fashion District, I got a couple of yards of rose pink colored gauze fabric from Hamed Fabrics on 39th St.

The moment I saw this blouse pattern, I loved it!! It looked SO romantic and SO comfortable. Instantly, I knew I’d be making it. I just didn’t know when.

A couple of notes on using gauze for this pattern. It makes it very flowy and very comfy and very romantic! AH!! Love it but stretch on it is minimal. Next time, I’m sizing up for comfort and ease of getting on and off. Otherwise, the pattern is super fast and super easy! it was a quick make and I’ll be making more in the gauze and in other proper stretch fabrics. Heart eyes emoji to Friday Pattern Company for putting this pattern out recently!!

Oo on second thought, I’m starting with this one… I NEED this blouse in my wardrobe.
